Last updated: 16 October 2026

This page explains which data is processed when you visit hayyanmezher.com, why, and what your rights are. In short: no cookies, no forms, no advertising and no tracking across websites.

Who is responsible

Hayyan Mezher, the Netherlands, is responsible for this website. You can reach me at hayyan.nld@gmail.com.

What this site does not do

This site does not place cookies, has no contact forms or accounts, shows no advertising, and does not use social media plugins or tracking that follows you across websites.

Hosting

When you visit the site, your browser automatically sends technical data to the server, such as your IP address, browser type and the page you request. This is needed to deliver the website to you and to keep it secure.

The site is hosted by Vercel Inc. (United States), which processes this data on my behalf. Vercel is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which provides a legal basis for this transfer. The legal basis for this processing is my legitimate interest in running a working and secure website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Visitor statistics

I use Vercel Web Analytics to see how many people visit the site and which pages they read. It does not use cookies. For each page view it records the page, the referring website, your approximate location (country, region and city), and your browser, operating system and device type.

Visitors are counted using a scrambled code (a hash) derived from the request, which is discarded after 24 hours. I only see aggregated statistics and cannot identify individual visitors. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Email

If you email me, I use your name, email address and message only to reply to you and to follow up on our conversation. I keep the message for as long as that conversation is relevant. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in responding to you, or taking steps at your request before a possible agreement (Article 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).

Recommendations

The recommendations on this site come from LinkedIn and are shown with permission, with first name and role only. If you are one of the people quoted and want your recommendation removed, email me and I will remove it.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. Email me to exercise any of these rights.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

Changes

If this website changes in a way that affects your privacy, I will update this page and the date at the top.
